- Wife: 1/8 when the deceased left children or son’s children, otherwise 1/4.
- Mother: 1/6 with children or two or more siblings, otherwise 1/3 — here one-third of what remains after the spouse (ʿUmariyyah).
- Father: 1/6 with a son; 1/6 plus the remainder with only daughters; the whole remainder with no children.
- ʿUmariyyah case: the mother receives one-third of what remains after the spouse’s share.
